Our Identity

Active Community: our mission, values, and character

Who we are

Community

We are a community organization born from the desire to strengthen the social fabric of our territory. Our story begins with small social initiatives among neighbors; today we are a reference point for collective participation.

"We build bridges, not walls."

Our mission

Participation

To promote social and cultural activities that foster cooperation and a sense of belonging. We believe every citizen can contribute to the common good through active participation.

"Together, we can make a difference."

Our values

Collaboration

Collaboration is our pillar. We value dialogue, inclusion, and teamwork to realize social initiatives that respond to the real needs of society.

"Unity is our strength."

Our character

Social initiatives

We are pragmatic, open, and rooted in the territory. Our approach is concrete: we transform ideas into tangible actions that enrich community life.

"Act locally, think communally."

Our Story

Active Community: A Journey of Growth Together

From the initial idea to a point of reference for social participation.

Our story begins with a simple desire: to create a space for meeting and collaboration in the San Antonio neighborhood. In 2015, a small group of residents, driven by passion for their community, gave life to the first informal meetings. The goal was clear: to promote social initiatives that responded to the real needs of the area and fostered an authentic sense of belonging.

The first significant milestone was the organization of the "Neighborhood Festival" in 2017, an event that involved hundreds of people and demonstrated the potential of collective participation. From there, the journey was enriched with fundamental steps: the opening of a listening desk in 2019, the creation of a shared garden in 2021, and, recently, the launch of cultural workshops for all ages. Each phase has been marked by the will to build, step by step, a more cohesive and supportive society.
